The main themes set for the Assembly included hearing the work reports of CAS and CASAD, deliberating and adopting the Bylaws for CASAD Members (Tentative), electing the CAS Presidium and new leading organs of CASAD, and related academic activities.

The Tentative Bylaws of the CASAD Members, which was adopted at the Assembly and then endorsed by the State Council, was the first guiding document for CASAD.
