Research Fields: impact and blast resistance of underground structures. Born in May 1962 in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. Graduated from the Department of Underground Engineering, Engineering Institute of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army in 1982. Obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees from the same institute in 1987 and 2000 respectively.
