Research Fields: hyperspectral remote sensing. Born in February 1969 in Weinan, Shaanxi Province. Graduated from the Department of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University in 1991, and obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees from the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1994 and 2003 respectively.
