Research Fields: coal geology, strategic metal mineral resources in coal measures, and hazardous elements in coal. Born in December 1970 in Rizhao, Shandong Province. Graduated from the Department of Coalfield Geology, Shandong Mining Institute in 1994, and obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in 1999 and 2002 respectively.
