Research Fields: quantum inorganic chemistry of rare earth elements and theoretical catalysis. Born in March 1962 in Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province. Graduated from the Department of Chemistry, Shaanxi University of Technology in 1982, received his master’s degree from Hebei Normal University in 1988, and his doctoral degree from Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1992.
