Under the joint auspices of the Academic Division of Technological Sciences, the Academic Division of Information Technical Sciences and the CAS Shanghai Branch, the 42nd Session of Forum on Technological Science was held in Shanghai, May 11th.
Focusing on the theme of the Expo 2010 “better city, better life” and its campaign for S&T innovation, 10 CAS Members and other experts from research institutes and universities from across the country delivered reports, and held in-depth discussions with nearly 40 participants on the profound impacts of science and technology on urban life and the leading role of science and technology in the future development of cities.
