On January 17, CAS President LU Yongxiang, who is also vice chairman of the Standing Committee of China's top legislature NPC, held talks with Dr. Pierre Coulombe, president of Canadian National Research Council (NRC) in Beijin.
The two sides briefed respectively about the recent progress of research and development on fuel cells and clean energy sources. They agreed that efforts should be furthered to promote the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the fields.
