With an objective of promoting the healthy and harmonious development of localities, strengthening disciplinary buildup of institutions of higher learning, and accelerating the cultivation of creative talents, CAS Members held 27 lecture meetings on invitation of the governments or academia and companies in 11 provinces including Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Anhui, Sichuan, Hebei and Henan. All the reports were recognized as able to exert a positive and profound influence on the local economic and social development.
